FREE ADMISSION - Crowds come to see the re-enactment of the battle that won Texas its independence from Mexico. Held on the grounds of the San Jacinto Monument, the world’s tallest monument column (and a replica of the Washington Monument). The festival is a full day of entertainment, vendors, food, family and children’s activities, games and fun, music and dancing on 3 stages. Fans can participate in: make-and-take activities, crafts for children, a children’s train, a petting zoo, a popular medicine wagon show, birds of prey; weavers, spinners, blacksmiths and other demonstrators; and dozens of unique hand-crafted items for sale.
Vendors can expect approximately 16,000 hungry fans to attend the Reenactment and to tour the Monument. Open to food vendors & vendors who sell products that reflect Texas history i.e. historic period clothing, art and handcrafted products.
